Lijkt me zeer zeker een goede aanvulling voor het deck, er kan misschien wel 1 scrying uit en dan 3 a 4 van deze kaarten. In het open gekomen unc slot kan dan iets anders komen zoals engineered plague..

Ik vind Burden of Greed wel een grappige vondst, maar werkt het ook zo goed als je hoopt?

Ik had van te voren een potje of 10 gespeeld tegen het Thopter Foundry deck van Martijn L. Ik was redelijk kansloos. Al mijn removal leverde extra beesten en levens op voor hem. Daarnaast had ik bijna niets aan mijn life gain removal.
Crypt Rats zijn MVP in deze matchup. De tegenstander kan alle beestjes saccen in reactie op activatie van de rats, maar gaint dan alleen levens, de nieuwe beestjes gaan ook direct dood.
Echoing Decay was ook wel prettig om te hebben (demonic tutor naar eentje om 3 diciples of the Vault te slopen)
Burden of Greed alleen tegen Allard ingeboard en niet gepakt. Ik kan me voorstellen dat de kaart beter werkt tegen de versie van Martijn, hij valt me aan met 5 a 6 tokens. Ik vermoed dat 2 een juist aantal is.

MBC is a beast. Thats the list I play in Germany at the moment:

// Lands
24 Swamp

4 Crypt Rats

4 Consume Spirit
4 Innocent Blood
4 Skeletal Scrying (U)
3 Duress

SB: 1 Duress
SB: 4 Dross Golem
SB: 4 Ravenous Rats
SB: 2 Wrench Mind
SB: 4 Wretched Banquet

I think Cabal coffers is not really needed and Skeletal Scrying is very important, i won't go below 3x.
As you don't play Duress in the maindeck (you can really improve your nonaggro-matchup with maindeck Duress) you have some slots for e.g. Echoing decay. I like this in combination with 2x Demonic Tutors.
I'll test 2x Demonic Tutors and 3x Skeletal Scrying in my list.

For the sideboard i noticed that Wretched Banquet is very good against extremly fast aggro (like 10land stompy or sligh) and mostly duress will be boarded out against these decks. Wretched Banquet is more or less Innocent Blood 5-8x.
Ravenous Rats and Dross Golems speed the clock up against combo (+Burn) and control. In the same matchups Wrench Mind ist very good.

yep, that card could see play in MBC. When it's added as a 4of, the deck will change a lot. I'll think about it. Very Happy

hey,

nice of you to join our board... We've got a well balanced meta which allows us to cut the duress from the mainboard. A lot of people here play aggro (W/G aggro, Taïga, Burn, Sligh, Affinity and such) I have to admit I haven't played this deck so I don't know a lot...

But I like your list... mainly because I don't need to purchase the coffers to play it Wink

... maybe I'll give it a go sometime.

Other people wanna comment on the decision's made by Grimmelhausen?

i thought about this comment and came to the conclusion that we probably play the deck a bit different Very Happy

I try to outcontrol the opponent in a long game with huge cardadvantage (+ lifegain) which you can see at 4x Skeletal Scrying and 4x Tendrils of Corruption.

And maybe you try to finish the opponent as soon as possible with some gigantic drain lifes (only 2x skeletal but cabal coffers, 2x demonic tutors)?
That's just a guess as i have never seen you play Wink

I'll definitly test you version of the deck to get an image of where the differences are.

What do you think about Sign in Blood? Maybe this card can melt our two playstyles together as Skeletal Scryings could be cut for Cabal Coffers.

Skeletal Scrying is still going to be huge, since it will often draw 4+ cards. That's a lot of card advantage! Smile
